THE FORGE

Craft NPCs, abilities, and gear inside the game itself.

The Forge is AVALON's in-game creation studio. It is where creatures, characters, abilities, and equipment are made: not in an external editor, but inside the world, with results you can place, fight, wield, and share minutes later.

Describe what you want and AVALON's generation systems help produce it, from a creature's 3D model to a weapon's look, while you stay in control of its stats and behavior.

Forge NPCs

  • Start from an archetype (warrior, caster, beast, villager) and make it yours: name, appearance, faction, and level range.
  • The Forge NPC creator: identity fields, a points budget, attribute sliders, NPC type tiers, and an equipment loadout panel

  • Assign real abilities and equipment, including custom weapons from the Marketplace. A points budget keeps every creation fair: stronger stats and abilities spend from the same pool, and boss tiers multiply what you have to spend.
  • Forged NPCs live in your Codex and can be placed into any world you build in. They fight, patrol, talk, and drop loot like any native creature.

From idea to encounter

  • A concrete example. Say you want a frost witch guarding a mountain pass:
  • Forge her. Caster archetype, level band 15 to 20, hostile faction. Spend the points budget on Mind and Vitality, pick a staff from the Marketplace, slot a frost nova ability.
  • Place her. Open the Codex in your world, drop her token at the pass, set the respawn timer.
  • Give her a story. A Merlin card announces her challenge when players approach, and a second card drops keys to the vault only when she falls.
  • Total time: minutes. No editor, no mod tools, no server restart.

Forge abilities and gems

  • Abilities are composed from a curated catalog of effects, damage formulas, animations, projectiles, and VFX. Pick the pieces; the Forge assembles a real, server-authoritative ability.
  • Socket gems into weapons and armor to grant abilities to gear. Find gems as loot, or forge your own.
  • Creations are data, not mods: they are stored on AVALON's backend and work for everyone, on every server, with no downloads.

Publish and remix

  • Share your creations to the Marketplace for other players to use in their worlds.
  • See something you like? Remix it: start from another creator's published work and push it somewhere new.
